I am writing to formally request removal of a long running campaign of hate speech on the platform that is causing hardship and violence.
This initial communication comes cordially and informally as I am aware it is impractical for moderators to be aware of every single upload to or webpage that indexes on the platform, until it’s brought to their attention.
Having said that, it will rapidly escalate to SFPD action and prosecution of moderators charged with the duty of removing of harmful content if not dealt with promptly as a safeguard against loss of life. This needs to be done quickly.
The material complained of has regularly reached into the day to day life of the victims of the fabricated material and caused severe loss, hardship and suffering including a knife incident because of a viewer’s reaction to the calculating and fabricated material complained of, uploaded to your site and it is irresponsible and a violation of duty of care for moderators to leave it up any longer, which if left up will constitute not civil but criminal culpability.

The material is already in violation of almost every element of the community guidelines and harassment policies used to keep the site safe.
The material must be removed immediately for public safety.
For brevity, all material complained of only has material impact on Google Search, YouTube and Facebook so the complaint consolidates those 3 locations into one complaint and a moderator from each can attend to the uploads/offending URLs indexing on their specific platform.
If the offending material, that is already in violation of harassment policies remains online, an attorney will be deployed by the victim to make formal complaint against moderators to police as this tends to be taken with higher priority by law enforcement than a simple victim call to 911 to report the criminal culpability in leaving the material up, however though those calls will also be made if the material continues to be available to harm people. Reports have been made on the material at each site but nothing has yet been done, and more harm has occurred since, much more.
This will need to continue from all angles until the material is removed and no longer indexes because there is no acceptable reason for the harassment material to remain.

Otherwise, law enforcement will pursue moderators for abetting crime because that’s what would then be happening if moderators become aware but do not immediately effect removal of the harmful material that has incited assault, loss of liberty and knife violence.

Interestingly, there were 2 more videos on YouTube from a copycat podcaster called PodAwful run by a Jesse Powell-Stroud but he got his channel deleted after doing copycat articles of these videos above and even admits in his broadcasts that ACA is something if an industrialized version of his harassment podcast channel that got deleted.

If you ‘Google’ or search the musician’s name that was the target of the harassment campaign ‘David Otto’ or ‘David Otto A Current Affair’ or anything related to ‘podawful’ on Google (various tabs), YouTube and Facebook, any material by an Australian news source is the subject of this complaint as it abets the aims of a criminal enterprise, polished and authoritative, but still using their broadcast technology and reputation to commit criminal acts.
If you or I were to upload false claims like this of a nature this serious, the uploads would be removed immediately and the account terminated. If any statement is made to the effect that the uploader has some form of immunity, law enforcement will immediately take up the matter with moderators personally and when you look at what this ‘authorized’ source has done, you will see why that response is more than warranted to make removal a top priority in the next section:

• The uploader clearly identifies and describes the victim’s residence, after visiting it and trespassing with cameras and filming into private areas to ensure the private residence could be recognized by viewers so they would know where to arrive to commit violence against the victim, deface his property and ‘swat’ the residence with false and misleading calls to emergency services – which occurred.
• The uploader makes patently false criminal claims. The victim has no record nor any reason for one, yet the uploader relentlessly describes various incidents that never occurred to enrage the public into violent and false police action against him in the material uploaded or indexed on your site.
• A total of 11 false cases have been brought and dismissed because of the false material available on the site in violation of the site’s harassment policy. The victim otherwise had no interactions with law enforcement and had never been charged with anything before in his life until the material complained of was uploaded and the public brigaded by direct instructions in the uploader’s material to ‘contact police.’
• These uploads and indexes have, even while false, removed the day to say safety of this hate speech campaign target for 7 years because of the visibility and mass distribution available on your site.
• The material is otherwise not publicly findable and does not intermingle with the victim’s own self promotion as a musician except for the postings on YouTube, Google Search and Facebook. The offender misuses the otherwise enjoyable ‘related video’ feature to pollute the musician’s own music videos with the ‘swatting’ material so that if he promotes his music videos as a creator, it links to the material complained of and increases the hoax calls to law enforcement. This also creates an alarming and distasteful user experience.
• The material complained of is designed to and incites others to harass and has caused severe harm including false police calls and this week more threats by the public to do so, even though there is no basis to do so.
• The material targets the victim’s weight:

This by an ‘authoritative’ and ‘respected’ news source. This sort of public commentary often leads to suicide – and again this commentary is being produced by an ‘authoritative’ news source
• Every negative and criminal claim the uploader makes is patently false and designed to bring harm then evade community guidelines and engage the public to do the uploader’s bidding and commit crimes against the victim – which has occurred.
• Material targets the victim’s hair loss and personal physical appearance to cause viewers to disregard his safety while inciting the public in bringing false cases.
• Material is designed to cause ridicule and lack of trust so the target cannot find employment and faces severe financial hardship as a result – this was one of the main objectives of the campaign by local news.
• This kind of abusive content next to the YouTube logo makes other users think it’s ok to create similar abusive content about the victim and others, and they do.
• The uploading group needs a lesson that what they used to get away with on TV in the 80s because no one could stop them is not acceptable on YouTube and Google and that quality control is part of the reason why Google and YouTube easily surpassed television as a more reliable source for quality content than free to air television. It’s almost embarrassing for them to be on there, but noone would see their material otherwise.
• The material contains extreme insults to deceive the viewer about the victim and dehumanize the victim into criminality through deception: “look at this drink spiker you, should call police” – even though patently false – is the uploader brigading mass false claims by viewers to authorities and has led to disruption of and cost to emergency services multiple times in Australia and the USA.
• Each upload or search result is dedicated entirely to focusing on maliciously insulting this identifiable individual . It’s a childish schoolyard personal attack on a citizen, parading as nightly news.
• The campaign was engineered to wreck the supports to his music career (fans and event managers) in Australia and America and his own uploads demonstrate the breadth of his talent which they were attempting to intermingle their ‘Wait don’t enjoy his music – call police’ – style of material.
• Brigading viewers to ‘contact police’ has the same effect as asking viewers to assault the identifiable individual whose home and face they have identified – as contacting police to make false claims has the effect of fear of loss of liberty and being physically touched without reason or consent, so becomes assault – which has occurred.
• The uploader’s material has led to directing users from YouTube to the comment section of the victim’s YouTube and Facebook personal and business pages, commenting and inboxing group assault and death threats.
• This is likely one of the most shocking and significant ‘Swatting’ campaigns that has ever been engaged in on YouTube as it has involved the direction of millions of viewers to attack one individual while showing his face and address.
• It has led to a request for political asylum in the United States – which seemed to have the effect of preventing any new material from being up loaded – but old material still remains with the uploader making slight changes to photos and changing post dates to force the harassment material back higher in search results so this needs to be prevented at its source.
• The uploader’s material shows the individual’s house and displays photos of his pets (copied from his own profiles without consent) in an effort to create hundreds of calls to local pet societies and as a result, happy healthy 7+ year old pets were taken from the property and killed, you can see photos of the pets in the uploader’s video before they were taken by the RSPCA because of the false calls made in reaction to the YouTube video.
• The uploader deserves no credence, they just don’t like that musicians used to have to solely go through TV and radio to distribute and promote their music and that gave the uploader tremendous power over people and they don’t have that power anymore so they try to attack and restrict in other ways to still have that power over content creators and have used your site to do it.
• In a better world, this entire news channel would be permanently removed from YouTube.

Let me say it again, this is a television station that us engaging in the illegal act of ‘swatting’ in their YouTube videos and has led to hundreds of thousands of wasted tax dollars in Australia and the United states to try to bring harm to their victim.
• The uploader is a company where the senior executives have already been found guilty by the Australian Government for using their market and broadcast power (and now YouTube and Facebook’s) to prevent everyday people from entering the creative and live event spaces with new ideas and better prices (Anti-trust violations). They got fined $2.5 million for this:

• The offender’s material also includes broadcast of covert filming of a closed San Francisco immigration court proceeding to protect the victim from the uploader to bring negative attention to and identify the protected applicant in a US political asylum case, which included covertly filming the judge in a closed court.
• Seeking of that protection through a political asylum application only became necessary because the victim’s safety was at risk so he had to leave his own country because of the previous swatting videos created by this uploader. He asked the US for protection, then during that 2-3 month process they continued to stalk him and uploaded another YouTube video trying to spin the asylum application as ‘behind bars for event fraud’ when no such thing has ever occurred, he simply needed protection from their previous fake material.
• It further confirms this uploader acts with malice because the material complained of is all by one source or a closely associated masthead all using the same law firm in Sydney, just posted in different places, besides the copycat podcaster who got his account deleted already, no other outlet but their mastheads produce or post this type of content and this is the very same organization that has been fined in Australia for using their market power to restrict entrants into the music and live event space.
• Because it’s been a 7 year doxxing and swatting campaign, the uploader need to be prevented from creating new uploads or surreptitiously refreshing old ones to index higher as now YouTube and Google is aware the uploader is likely to use their platform to commit crimes and would abet them if the offending 2-3+ year old ‘news’ material is not removed.
• If this cannot be handled at the user complaint level this week, it will become a US police and court matter for moderators because there is no excuse for leaving this sort of material up given the full context.
• Would appreciate removal and an advertising account credit and linkup with a senior ad account mentor for boost of his own music content to help recover from the massive personal and financial losses caused by the uploader but removal of the offending material would suffice then the matter will be taken up separately against the uploader in a civil and criminal action against the individuals in that organization responsible for the uploads.
• The hell the material has created is part of why a formal detailed report has now been forthcoming to YouTube, Google and Facebook in what will then be relentless followup until the irresponsible material is gone.
It’s a shame such a great platform has been misused for this purpose. There’s a reason why TV died out and users just want to consume each other’s content. It’s better and uncorrupted.
• This is a TV station bringing ridicule on a private citizen because of their weight.
• The standard of decency, safety and good faith should be higher not lower for an authoritative news source.
• The content is criminally irresponsible if you consider what’s possible with millions of viewers having false crimes described to them with force and being told to contact police.
• This ‘we’re untouchable’ criminal attitude comes from an old era of ‘muck raking’ 80s TV station public bullying that can’t get enough views from their own distribution ironically because YouTube is better for viewers simply because of its community guidelines and various policies and this sort of material has no place in a modern public online community.
This kind of cheap-shot material lowers the tone of YouTube and makes it look as if YouTube is ok with doxxing and swatting people into suicide when they are not.
It’s interesting to note that nowhere else, no other news source in the world except for this group considers their claims to be ‘news’ as it is a personal vendetta from executives at this one TV station in Sydney towards an independent musical artist.
They currently also have control of all of the victim’s assets, money and ability to travel as part of the hate campaign, hence the need for political asylum, which they then tried to spin into more doxxing and swatting, the whole time using Google, YouTube and Facebook to do it.
