This lie is designed to bring undeserved hatred on her target, David Otto, when he actually went to the extra trouble of being honest with her and give her an out before they left, which she didn’t want to take because the 3 of them had been out socially before.
So you register what the lie was and by whom then recognise the evidence that disproves it. Become aware that you’ve been lied to about David Otto in the media and that it’s probably one of the worst sabotage/coverups by media in entertainment history. Then the real hatred arises towards the girl who lied to you about him for tricking you into having undeserved sympathy for and giving undeserved pity to her.
